Custom Design
Here at Log & Cedar Homes, we are happy to hear our clients say, that they want something different. After all, no two sites are identical, and no two clients either, so why should we all accept a "standard" design. We tell our clients, there are four key items that dictate the design of a house for you :-
- What do you want ? It may be sizes; rooms; features or how it 'feels'
- What is your budget ?
- Your site sizes; aspect; topography and key features.
- What the Planning Authority may require.

All items within the above four areas, must be considered, before you can commencing your design. When starting, don't immediately look at plans, but list out on a piece of paper what you want, whether it is a specific size; room or feature. Once you have done this, look through our illustrations and website, and identify designs and features that you find appealing. Don't confine yourself to one type . . . "pick-and-mix" the features you like. It may be that you have also seen pictures within magazine articles . . . cut them out and show us. We have computer aided design to help you visualise the concepts, and can produce 'photos' and plans of the proposed home for discussion purposes. We have a range of services, to assist you with your planning submissions, whether an initial application, or detailed warrant drawings.
