| Linwood - Traditional Timber Frame Homes :- |
![]() |
Linwood Traditional Timber Frame differs from the other Linwood systems, in that the structural frame is made up of an engineered timber skeleton, with the enclosing envelope chosen from alternative methods leaving the frame exposed internally, showing it’s magnificence to all. |
| The skeleton is made up of individual frames such as the ‘Queen Post Truss’ shown here, which are assembled and link to other timber members, using traditional wood joints, and locked together using wood dowels. | ![]() |

| The external skin, including the roof, can be either framed with normal SPF timber studs / rafters and ply, or by the use of SIPs panels. The external walls can then be finished with our wide range of Western Red Cedar siding, as the Custom Cedar Homes, with the roof finished in any material you may wish, whether natural slate, or cedar roofing shakes. | ![]() |
